Borrow maker tools and technology to use in-branch. Explore new gadgets, get crafty, or start gaming! Speak to staff about bookings during branch hours and for all available programming. Staff will help troubleshoot issues where possible, however, we ask that you book one-on-one time for more extensive tech help.
Print 3D objects using plastic filament! Get creative and print anything from figures, phone holders, and jewelry to key chains and basic prototypes. We use the Cubicon Single Plus model in most of our branches.

Each branch has a Cricut machine. It can cut a variety of materials and is compatible with tools for writing, cutting, foiling, embellishing, and more. Cut out decals, stickers, and iron-on vinyl designs. Please bring your own projects for use in-branch or join a programme to make something with our supplies.

Digitize old film negatives and carousel slides with ease. You can reserve the Jumbl film scanner for in branch use at Aboyne, Hillsburgh and Mount Forest Branches. The Jumbl scans and digitizes 35mm slides and negatives, 110, 126 KPK, and Super 8 slides and negatives. Click here for details.

Visit our Drayton Branch to make use of their Elgato video converter for digitalizing camcorder tapes, VHS, or DVD content. Please note, this tool requires users to provide their own device that has composite “RCA” or S-Video outputs or is compatible with a SCART adapter. Click here for details.
