Want to meet new people in your community? Love talking about books and hearing different opinions? Wellington County Library’s book clubs are a welcoming place to read, reflect, and enjoy conversation with fellow readers.

We offer monthly book clubs for adults, teens, and tweens, with meeting times to suit different schedules. Each month, library staff choose interesting books that spark discussion, ranging from memoirs and novels to hidden gems you might not have picked up on your own. We even have clubs focused on special topics, like cookbooks and romance.

At book club, you’ll gather with neighbours to talk about the month’s pick. There’s also time to share what else you’ve been reading and swap recommendations. Background information and discussion questions are provided to help guide conversation and books are exchanged at each meeting, so you’ll always have your next read in hand.

Registration is required for most clubs, and some may have waitlists due to popularity. Check out our fall clubs near you!
