Ontario Public Library Week (OPL Week) is our annual celebration of libraries and all the ways they bring people together and strengthen our communities. From Sunday, October 19 to Saturday, October 25, stop by your local branch and join the fun as we thank you for being part of our story!
Here’s what’s happening all week:
Enter a book draw every time you visit.
Replace your lost or damaged library card for free.
Enjoy light refreshments at your local branch (times vary).
And discover more fun throughout the week!
Public libraries are open, welcoming spaces for everyone. Along with books, you’ll find free programmes, technology, and resources to help you learn, explore, and stay connected. Come visit us and see all the ways your library helps you belong.
Share your favourite library stories with staff, in-person, by email, snail mail, or social.
