Residents, students, and educators of the County of Wellington are invited to get a free WCL card! Adults and teens are welcome to register using this form. Cards for children 13 years and under must be issued in person.
Please do not submit this form if you are trying to renew an existing WCL card. You must visit a branch in-person with proof of address to renew a card. If you are unable to get to a branch, please call them directly for further assistance.
WCL has borrowing agreements with the library systems listed below. You may be entitled to a free membership card if you live in the area of, and pay taxes that fund, one of these library systems:
Once your temporary card has been created, you will receive an email from library staff. To confirm your membership and pick up your physical card, you will need to visit your home branch with photo ID and proof of address within a month. We look forward to seeing you!
If you do not live in Wellington County, or one of the municipalities we have a borrowing agreement with, you can get a Wellington County Library card at an annual cost of $180.00. (Fee will be $240.00 as of January 1, 2025.) A monthly payment option is also available. Please do not submit this form. Non-residents must visit a library branch to set up their library account.
You can also sign up for monthly emails that highlight upcoming events and new books and resources. You may unsubscribe at any time.
